Michael Van Vliet, MD, FACS, is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon and Fellowship Trained Critical Care Surgeon at Luminary Dermatology. The dermatology practice has 10 locations, and Dr. Van Vliet sees patients at two offices in Bradenton and Bradenton Cortez, Florida.
He is currently a board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience.
Upon graduating from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, Dr. Van Vliet served as Chief Resident during his surgical residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
He completed his burn and critical care fellowship at the University of California, Keck School of Medicine & Los Angeles County Medical Center (Keck School of Medicine of USC).
As the anchor of a talented plastic surgery team, Dr. Van Vliet will collaborate with Luminary Dermatology’s Board-Certified Dermatologists and Fellowship-Trained Mohs Surgeons to reconstruct Mohs Surgery.
