Tamara Porter is a board-certified nurse practitioner backed by years of advanced clinical practice. Tamara received her Nursing Degree as well as her Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in psychology from Midway University in Midway, Kentucky. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University with a 4.0 GPA. Tamara then graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University with a 4.0 GPA. She is a board-certified dermatological nurse practitioner and has practiced in general dermatology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetics. She volunteers as the dermatology provider for the Virgina B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic in Port Charlotte, FL. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse practitioners, The National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners and Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners. Tamara feels her biggest accomplishment was homeschooling her 4 children. They are all Bright Future Scholars, and all had their associate’s degree by 18 years old. On her down time, Tamara enjoys hiking, biking, antiquing, and spending time with her husband in the Mountains of NE Georgia .
